| All Levels Children thru Adults Third Stream Music has been offering to the community of Bulverde, Texas: Guitar, Bass, Piano and Drum lessons since 1994. Studio’s owner Charlie Wood and Oscar Cruz design customized lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each student. By adapting to his or her challenge level, assessing technical strengths and weaknesses, and creating an atmosphere tailored to the student’s own learning style, will help you bring music alive one note at a time! TSM Studio has been helping students of all ages reach their musical potential. Our teachers are dedicated to the value of making your learning experience fun and enjoyable. Age to Start Piano Lessons There is no one “right age” in which to start Piano lessons, but we do have many students begin Piano lessons around approximately 4 or 5 years old. Several factors to take into account include the child’s emotional maturity, their ability to focus, and their current academic ability in basic math and reading skills. Adult Piano Lessons We love adult students! We have adults who are complete beginners, some who haven’t played their instrument in 10 years, and some who are more advanced students looking to take their skills to the next level. Charlie and Oscar have proven methods to get you the results you desire. All Ability Levels are Welcome |

| Piano and Drums offers: Piano Lessons- Pop Piano- Electric Keyboard-Jazz Piano- Latin Piano-Music Theory- Modern Harmony-Rhythmic Concepts Improvisation- Composition. Drums (Beginners-Intermediate). Rock Drums, Pop Drums, Blues Drums, Latin Drums. There are no upfront costs. Third Stream Music Lessons won't ask you to sign a semester or lesson term contract. Stop and start when you like. |

| LESSON DETAILS: My lessons with students typically consist of 5 areas of study including technique, performance, ear-training, sight-reading and theory. All of these aspects of music are important to learn, but I always specialize my lessons per student, making sure I am helping them achieve exactly what they want to learn, whether it be writing music, or playing anything from classical, pop, to jazz. |
| ABOUT ME: I am a graduate from Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas in Tampico, Mexico with a Bachelors degree of Music and teaching certification degree in1980. Following my education I became a professor of that institution for 5 years. I am also a performer on piano, keyboards and drums. I love all styles of music and I am open to whatever style or genre my students would like to pursue. The important thing is to enjoy what you are playing! All music is beautiful as long is played well. I have played piano since I was 13 years old. In college I have concentrated more on playing jazz and have written everything from piano solo music to full orchestral pieces. I think music is full of possibilities and would love to help new and continuing students discover what they love in music! |
